Home to HL&S founder Marlin Hanson, this project reflects the core of what we’re about: bold timber work, native materials sourced on-site, clean, simple joinery, and intentional design. With a modest footprint and a green roof, the home is designed to disappear into the landscape—quietly capturing views of the mountains and ocean while staying hidden from the road. Strong timber bones and a clear vision make this a true expression of the HLS approach to building.
